I have started experiencing problems playing back the cbs news video. I download a new video and when I try to play it, the screen will go black for a few seconds and then return back to the feed list. My other videos on other feeds play with no problem. I have removed and redownloaded the feeds / removed and redownloaded the link - all without success
Most likely the video has some compatibility problems with Android. Can you try playing the vids in the android video player to see if you're having the same problems there.
The cbs news videos were playing with no problems at first. Approx a week ago one might fail to play and another would play ok. Now as of about 3 days ago all of them fail. I can play other videos from other sources I get from this site. I downloaded a video player and it has the same problem - can play other videos from this site but not the cbs news.
Yep, a couple different video creators have changed encoding parameters that cause playback to fail on android.
I suggest contacting the publisher to let them know, and maybe link back here. Either you or I (or both) can work with them until we get it resolved.
