A2DP question

Both DC and Music refuse to play anything over A2DP on my Desire.

The car headunit supports A2DP fine on Nokias and the iPhone, no luck with Android though. Strange thing is that I don't find any "switch" where one could regulate where's the audio supposed to go... :S

So how is it supposed to work after all? :)

That should work, you might want to contact your carrier (if you got the phone from them). It has worked for me on the g1 and cliq, although I haven't tried on the nexus one, which is like the desire.

Should it direct the media

Should it direct the media audio to bluetooth automatically or should I configure/switch something?

N1 connects

A2DP works for me on my Nexus One. I'll ask the basic question - Are you sure you're connected to your headunit? You should see the bluetooth logo around the center in your notification bar, and it should have two little arrows within the logo when it's connected to a device.

Pete, yes, the BT logo with

Pete, yes, the BT logo with little arrows is entirely present.

The phone calls go nicely to the car headunit but the media still goes stubbornly to the phone loudspeaker :(

On the iPhone there's a little BT icon apparent on the iPod application, which directs the audio where needed. Is there something similar on the Android?

One more

I know these are basic, but it doesn't hurt to check, right? :)

If you go into bluetooth settings and long press on your device and then select Options... Is Media checked?

Oh, and once I get it

Oh, and once I get it working, is there a way to switch calls and audio from BT to the phone and back?
