Lockscreen Buttons Have Disappeared despite DC settings

Android 6.0.1, Galaxy S6 Neo
Until very recently my lockscreen buttons were displaying as normal and responding but now all I get is "Contents hidden" instead. I've checked everything in the FAQ and confirmed that I'm stil allowing all notifications includng those from DC and the DC Lockscreen setting are still set to display the buttons. It is responding as I expect when I use a headset and when I'm using my car's Bluetooth connections, it's just that the lockscreen notifications has become useless.

When you're getting a

When you're getting a lockscreen notification "Contents hidden" Check your device settings>Apps>All Apps>Doggcatcher>App Notifications>On the lock screen- press "On the lock screen" and change from "Hide sensitive notification content" to "Show all notification content"

Re FAQ post listed under Lockscreen change to "Show all notifications" http://www.doggcatcher.com/node/6624

I already checked that before

I already checked that before I raised the issue. My Samsung Galaxy S6 Neo structures the menus differently to your instructions - the menu path you gave does not present on my device.
However, under the equivalent Settings>Lock screen and security>Notifications on lock screen
I see the following:
Content on lock screen: Show content (alternatives are Hide content or Do not show noticications. they are not selected)
Show notifications from:
All apps: ON
DoggCatcher: ON

Further:

Further:
Under the device Settings>Notifications
Scrolling down I see
DoggCatcher: ON
Back at the header of the screen I select "Advanced" to get a new screen
I scroll down to DoggCatcher which shows the value "Set as priority / Content hidden"
I click to open the DoggCatcher settings.
I see "Show on lock screen" is set to OFF and "Show content on lock screen" is set to ON
If I change "Show on lock screen" to ON then the second setting disappears and when I check the lock screen there is no DC lock screen control at all, not even "Content hidden"

Update

Update
The settings are now working back to front!
Under Settings>Notifications>Advanced>DoggCatcher
If "Show on Lock screen" is OFF and "Show content on lock screen is OFF" then I see the control buttons on the lock screen, completely opposite to the the settings chosen. Something very weird is going on.

I don't know why Samsung

I don't know why Samsung makes device settings so different or difficult than stock Android, at least you've gotten the lockscreen buttons for the app working again
