DETAILS:
DoggCatcher Version:1.2.4154
Device: Samsung Galaxy 9+
Android Build: (Android 9) 4.9.59-15076275
Carrier: Telenor
SUMMARY: DC keeps crashing/stopping after some time listening
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Start DC
2. Listen to a pod for at least 30 minutes
3. Notice that the audio will start "chop" and then stop.
WHAT HAPPENS: After some time listening, the audio start to "chop" and then completely stops. The applications seems to "forget" where the audio stops (it's at least 20 seconds in the past when the user re-starts), but the app is still running.
WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: DC should continously run until the user decides to stop (or the set timer runs out).
FREQUENCY: 100%
SEVERITY: Serious
Same issue here, Note 9, Android 9. Can't lodge a report as DC crashes when I try to do so. Was fine prior to 9.0 upgrade.
knightnz & Dabrinko, the issue could be a corrupt install of the app
Backup the app (DC Navigation Menu>Settings>Backup/Restore/Export) uninstall & install the app again
Restore the app's settings & configurations, the reinstall should resolve the problem.
