Moving Storage to SD Card on Moto G5 Plus

Trying to save/store podcasts to the SD Card instead of internal.

Background: Used to have an older Moto G LTE (actual Motorola) with an SD Card, DoggCatcher worked perfectly having the episode containers on the SD card (as removable storage). Recently upgraded to a Moto G5 Plus with the same SD Card installed (as external/removable storage - not as internal memory). However after installing the DoggCatcher App, cannot figure out how to set the SD Card as the location to use the SD Card. It has set up containers in the internal "Phone" storage.

Under App Permissions, DC has Phone and Storage enabled.

Problem: When going to SETTINGS>MISC>STORAGE DIRECTORY in DC, options are confusing...

[Default] - /storage/emulated/0 --- OK
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data --- Limited
/storage/3135-3334/Android/data --- Limited

If Browse is selected... shows as "/storage/emulated/0"
And under that shows the directory of the internal phone storage. Clicking on the root directory "/.." displays the message "cannot list directory /storage/emulated"

Right now, The Googles uses the SD Card as location for camera pics so is accessible.

Any help appreciated.
Thank you,
rnd

External Storage (SD Card)

Choose /storage/3135-3334/Android/data --- Limited & enable storage permission from device settings (Apps> All Apps>DoggCatcher>Permissions)

See FAQ post "Why am I experiencing external storage (SD Cards) problems after my device has been upgraded to Marshmallow (Android 6.0)?" - http://www.doggcatcher.com/node/6493 - This issue also applies to devices running Android 7.0 Nougat & 8.0 Oreo - for more information
