Hi
I recently upgraded to Android 8.0 Oreo on my Samsung Galaxy s8+ and since then, in DoggCatcher, my screen doesn't stay on when playing a video podcast/netcast, even though the setting is correct, after 1 minute (witch is the time my screen goes out normally) it goes out. Is there maybe a setting I need to change in Oreo to have this fixed, or is it maybe a problem?
Hope you can help me out, cause this is really annoying.
Regards
Christophe
The app's developer will respond later about this, in the meantime I would change the device screen timeout settings from 1 to 30 minutes or install a screen awake app/widget from the playstore with the ability toggle from 1 to 30 minutes and back again on the home screen of your device.
***Update***
The developer has an issue for this with a fix http://mantis.doggcatcher.com/view.php?id=2255 ...it will be released in 2 weeks or so on a beta version of the app
See posted article "CloudSync/ Beta Version of DC" for links on how to install the beta http://www.doggcatcher.com/node/5823
If there are no additional issues, the production version of the app with the update will be released to the Playstore.
Thanks for your feedback
Ok, thanks for the help
You're welcome
The production version of the app with the fix has been released (Play Store URL for the full version https://goo.gl/RxNSXW)
I am having the same problem with my Galaxy Note 8. When I click on the link it takes me to the Play Store and the new release but is asking me to purchase the app!!
Do I need to purchase this new version or am I having other issues as well?
What version of the app are you currently running? (DC Navigation Menu>More>About) If you're using the version of the app purchased from the Amazon Appstore or
the Lite/Premium version from the Google Play store aren't able to access the beta version of the app.
