Audio player control screen

A behavior just changed today. When I select an individual audio episode to play from a feed, for example an episode of Car Talk, it used to be the case that a full screen "player" opened up that had controls at the bottom of the screen that allowed skipping to a position in the file, allowed fast forwarding, etc. Now when I select an individual audio episode from a feed list, it just starts playing and, if I touch it again, it stops. But I can't get to that more feature rich full page player window. I haven't consciously changed any settings for quite some time, is there some setting that controls this?
tnx

Car Mode or Now Playing Screen

To enable the car mode or now playing feature by pressing on the feed/podcast thumbnail icon bottom left of the media control bar at the bottom of the screen

See FAQ article Media Control Bar (Access the Media buttons, Progress/Seekbar & Car Mode or Now Playing Screen) http://www.doggcatcher.com/node/6500

If the problem persists, exit & restart the app (DC Navigation Menu>More>Exit) once the app is restarted> enable the car mode feature

Vertical ellipsis at bottom of screen

Based on your suggestion, I discovered that there is a small, rather faint, vertical ellipsis at the bottom of the screen when I am displaying the individual podcasts for a feed. Pressing that ellipsis reveals a menu that has an entry labeled "Show media buttons". Once I selected that, the icon that you refer to appeared along with the media controls I'm used to seeing. Once that menu appears, in the very bottom right corner is a vertical ellipsis which has the menu choice "HIde media buttons". I would imagine this was a butt dial that caused it to change configuration.
thanks

Hide Media Buttons

I'm sorry, I shouldn't have realized the "Hide Media Buttons" feature was enabled and that was the cause of the problem....glad the issue is resolved.
