Hello,
since maybe two weeks I noticed, that my video feeds and virtual video feeds often start from the beginning instead of the moment, I stopped them. This occurs on more than one device and with different kinds of videos, so it doesn't seem to be dependent on that factors.
I would really be happy to see that bug fixed.
Additionally, I noticed that the shown (complete) time of a video often is wrong with videos on my One Plus 2 mobile. Time of the same videos are shown correctly on other devices, so that could maybe be the fault of my handset.
Thanks! Best regards, DCSH
What version of Android and DC is running on your device?
Also, if you are playing the videos in an external player, this will happen for sure.
Devices I tested on:
One Plus 2 (ONEA2003), OxygenOS2.2.1-2 based on Android 5.1.1
Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10" (Lenovo B-8000), Stock Android 4.4.2
Latest DC release on paid channel form Google Play Store. On my One Plus2 it's 1.2.4146 I suppose, it's the same one the tablet.
Of course it's only the internal player, that remembers the last position. I've been using that feature for many years to watch my TV shows on a virtual feed :)
Hmm, right after this happens, can you please do a 'report problem' in the navigation drawer.
I've got some pretty good logging around that feature so I should be able to tell what's going on from that.
Thanks.
Just re-read your first post...if the complete time is incorrect on the video player, then the position we resume to will also be incorrect. We calculate the complete time based on the current position that we get from the android media player.
Also, could you please do a video resume before sending the log, so play, exit playback, resume, exit playback, then 'report problem'
Thanks.
Allright, I sent you three error reports!
Thanks!
