episode play history

Sorry if this already posted, but I didn't see it in the forums. Is there a way to see the history of when every episode has played on this device? For example can I see what episode played at 10 a.m. last Thursday morning?
Thanks!

No and there isn't a way to list a history of what was played within the app.

Thanks for posting, wish I had better news for you.

how about a history of what episodes were downloaded?

It would be great if I could download a list of URLs showing what MP3s I had downloaded into Doggcatcher on my phone over the last few months. Is this possible, or any other interaction with the user history of my account?

Thanks,

Bob

There isn't a way to list a history of what was downloaded, played or any other interaction with the user's account history within the app.

Sorry..the app wasn't designed to log & keep the user's history.

User Play History

I wish to request the feature of tracking the user's play history.

I listen to so many podcasts that it would save me a lot of time if the podcast app I used most would track the podcasts I have listened to. DoggCatcher could just display a list of each podcast episode and the date I started listening to it. (Date finished would be fine, too, but would be more difficult to pin down because often people leave podcasts 95% complete due to skipping the end-credits.)

None of the podcast-related apps seem to have this feature... PodBean claims to do it, but I just downloaded their app and their "Play History" section contains irrelevant dates beside podcast episodes you have listened to, making it effectively useless as a tracking tool; their customer service confirms this.

DoggCatcher could be the first to implement a REAL Play History feature, thus setting it apart from other podcast apps. Across the top, you could just add the word "History" so that the app would read:

Feeds|Audio|Video|News|History

I'm sorry, but the way the app is designed...it will only automatically update & download new published episodes from your feed/podcast subscriptions and once you've completed listening/watching those episodes, the media files are automatically deleted...so there isn't a way to list a history of what was played within the app.
