Save Individual MP3 File

There are times when I want to save a podcast for archival purposes. If I use the "share" feature, I'm able to save a link to the episode in Evernote so that I may download it later. But is there a way to save the episode file directly without having to download the file again?

Pin Episodes

Eric this on the his to do list for a future update 0001286: Ability to pin episodes (pinned episodes will not be deleted) http://mantis.doggcatcher.com/view.php?id=1286

Currently you can pin the entire feed by pressing the context menu of the particular feed (Hamburger Icon Right of Feed Title) Press "Feed Options"

Scroll down & enable "Pin Expired" > then press OK (This option requires manual deletion of completed episodes.

The next option would be to upload the episode from the particular feed directory using "Evernote", "DropBox" or "Google Drive"

To locate the feed directory> Press the context menu of the particular feed (Hamburger Icon Right of Feed Title) Press "Feed Options">Scroll down to "Feed Storage Directory"

Open "Evernote">Press "Attachment">press file manager press internal or external storage to the directory (Example "Episodeenclosues /125" )

Another option if you want to keep particular media files your feed/podcast subscriptions on your device is to create a virtual feed (See user guide post http://www.doggcatcher.com/node/1810)

Locate the feed directory for the particular podcasts (See Above) and copy or move the media files to an existing directory you created or DC created directory for the virtual feed.
