'Full fetch' feed item limit?

I subscribe to the Empire Magazine podcast, which requires the 'full fetch' option to be enabled in order to show the newest items first. However the most recent item that appears in DC is from 21 Dec 2015 - there are two more after that which don't show up.

The feed is now quite large, so could this be a limitation of the 'full fetch' option?

The feed URL is http://www.empireonline.com/podcast/podcast.xml.

The episodes are there but at

The episodes are there but at the wrong end of the list (if you have it sorted). They might have the dates for those episodes in an incorrect format or something that is causing DC to not put them in the right place.

Some 'pubdate' tags have leading spaces

Ah yes, looking at it they have a leading space in the 'pubdate' field for the three most recent episodes (which are the last three entries in the feed, as it's oldest to newest).

I know it's the publisher's responsibility to produce a valid feed and I'll ask them about it, but would it be possible for DC to handle this kind of invalid tag in a future version?

Thanks

I try to avoid doing one-off

I try to avoid doing one-off workaround for individual feeds because it ends up make the application harder to manage over time. There is a virtually endless amount of ways feed can deviate from the spec. Most of the time, the publishers end up fixing it before I get to the workaround anyhow.
