Be able to directly download episodes to the external SD card

I just got a new phone, an Asus Zenphone 2 Laser Z00TD 32 gig 5.5" version. Previously I had a Samsung Mini S3. I could download episodes to the external SD card on the S3 Mini, but now I can't on the Zenphone which is running Android 5.0.2. Could you please change the permissions on Doggcatcher to move it to the external SD card in order that episodes can be downloaded there, stored there, and played from there?

It's a big hassle and huge nuisance having to move files into folders on the External SD and then creating Virtual Feeds. Google should not be creating these restrictions with Android. As far as I'm concerned 5.0.2 is not an improvement over whatever the S3 Mini was running. In fact it is a huge step backwards. I hope the Doggcatcher developers will be able overcome the problem. I honestly feel the External SD is for data storage, and the Internal memory is where the actual program should reside.

Filling up the internal memory of the phone with audiocast episodes is an enormous waste of precious storage space.

SD cards

See FAQ article How does DoggCatcher use SD cards and large built-in storage? http://www.doggcatcher.com/StorageDirectory

Also scroll down to comment "From the "Storage Directory"

Thanks I got it working

I got it working, but I have to say it's a huge pain. I certainly would prefer the way it was in the past. It's annoying to have to have the directory buried so deeply. Nevertheless, I'm grateful for the help.
