The latest version of Doggcatcher seems to have removed the ability to mark a podcast as "old" or "not new". I have auto-download disabled, as I like to screen my podcasts manually. After the download finished, then I would manually mark it as "old", so I could easily see what was new and what had already been downloaded. Now, I can't do this anymore. Ideally, I'd like podcasts to mark themselves as "old" upon download, but I don't see this option in settings. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks!
Press the context menu (Three dot hamburger icon right of the episode title) to flag as done or new
Long press on an episode now enables the Multi select feature, currently the Multi Select feature only flags episodes as new/done or deletes media files
Press the box icon, will flag as selected episodes new - press the box with ✓ icon, flags all selected episodes as done and pressing the X icon deletes all selected episodes.
Thanks. None of those options are "mark as not new"; i.e. when you start playing an episode it gets set to "not new".
Apologies! You're right, I didn't notice the in progress option is no longer there..when you wrote old, I thought you meant done. Eric will respond later about this issue.
That's a bug, I created an issue for this - http://mantis.doggcatcher.com/view.php?id=2135
Thanks for reporting it.
