Hello!
All of a sudden when I open Doggcatcher I get a "Storage Problem" notification just like when KitKat was released, however I have been using it successfully since then. I currently have a Galaxy Note 4 running Lollipop.
Interestingly, if I use Astro File Manager, \storage\extSdCard is blank. I don't know if that is by design or not with all the crazy security in Android surrounding the SD card now. \storage\sdcard0, however, is fine and all the Doggcatcher files are in there, including a backup I did just now to test it.
I tried changing to the internal storage and then back to see if that would fix it, but it did not. I've also restarted twice, once with a battery pull.
Any ideas on how to help me fix this?
Thanks!
Rick
For external storage on KitKat & Lollipop devices, DC should be pointed to (/storage/extSdCard/Android/Data/com.snoggdoggler.android.applications.doggcatcher.v1_0)
From the "Storage Directory" screen, press on (/storage/extSdCard/Android/Data) in orange - then press "Yes' on the dialog box - this should auto-fill the storage directory box down below - on the second dialog box press OK - DC will restart.
If DC is pointed to \storage\extSdCard - you'll get a storage error notification - See FAQ post about this issue http://www.doggcatcher.com/StorageDirectory
Wayne,
That is the directory it is using. I mentioned trying to browse the main extSDCard directory simply as additional information. They settings are correct because they worked before today and nothing changed.

Apologies for misunderstanding the problem, send log right after you get the storage error notification again (In the DC Navigation Menu>Report Problem) and I'll get check it out.
That gave me an error too. It says:
Description: /storage/extSDCard/Android/data/com.snoggdoggler.android.applications.doggcatcher.v1_0/files/DoggCatcher/log-system.txt: open failed: EROFS (read-only file system)
The SD card could be or just the DC directory is corrupted , check this article & follow the solution to resolve the problem http://www.doggcatcher.com/node/6093 - in either case you will lose your feeds database and configuration & have to start all over again
Sorry for the bad news
If you're interested try CloudSync beta, you could use this feature as additional backup in case this issue happens again.
There is FAQ post http://www.doggcatcher.com/faq Listed under other

I'll give it a shot. Thanks.
Yeah the card is definitely corrupted. My mp3s that are stored on there won't play either. I'll work on rebuilding my data that is on there. I only had mp3s that are on my computer also, my pics that are backed up to the cloud, and my DoggCatcher data that I can hopefully restore from a backup. Thanks for your help!
