Does anyone know if there is a way to view all the new episodes for all of the subscribed feeds on the one screen?
I don't download or listen to all the episodes of each of my feeds, so I like to easily see what is new and then choose whether to download it or not. At the moment I have into go into each feed individually to see what is new.
Also is there a way to distinguish between a new episode that is downloaded rather than a new episode that is not yet downloaded? On my view each just shows up with a blue dot.
Once a new epiosde shows up on a feed, if you don't want to download it is there a way to ignore/delete it from the list rather than just "mark as done" and hide it?
I am using paid version 1.2.4093 on LG Nexus 5
From the Feeds tab, press the filter selector button on the header (“All Feeds” Top left of the feeds screen) select "New and in Progress" - press "Clear Filter" to return to the default view.
It's on Eric's to do list for the ability to create a playlist for that includes both audio and video feeds - http://mantis.doggcatcher.com/view.php?id=982
Swipe or press the "Audio or Video" tab - press the playlist selector button on the header (Top left of the screen) select the system playlist "All - sorted by feed/date" to list & playback new downloaded episodes.
thanks WayneC. I had used both of these views already, but what is typical for podcast apps is that you can see, on one screen/tab all of the new episodes to download after a refresh, instead of having to go in to each feed to look for new episodes. Its not a "playlist" as such, it could be a new "tab" called "new" or something like that. It would also be handy for new episodes that are as yet not downloaded to have a different colour dot, rather than just distinguishing them by the small download symbol.
I do see what you're talking about but there isn't a way to do that at the moment. We've had that request before but I can't figure out a good way to bring that into the UI. DC is gear more towards setting up your feeds to auto-download new episodes, and then either listening to an episode or flagging it as done (which will usually delete it).
What you're describing is a different workflow before the episodes are downloaded aimed aimed at selecting the episodes you want to download.
