1 playlist per feed - how do i do this?

hi guys

i've been a user of the app for ages now but keep giving up and looking at other podcast players as i get so frustrated with this issue.

how do i set things up so that each feed can be played by itself? i don't want to listen to the latest 5 podcasts from 5 different feeds one after the other - i want to listen to the last 5 episodes of FeedX one after the other - then if i choose to listen to FeedY i want to be able to listen to the latest 5 of those

and all of this with autoplay the next episodes

seems like the simplest of the simple options for playing feeds but i cannot find how to do this with doggcatcher

can somebody please explain like i'm an idiot how i can get this happening?

thanks in advance
:)

You can create a dynamic or

You can create a dynamic or user playlist for each audio feed (http://www.doggcatcher.com/node/1755)

Dynamic playlist: swipe or press the audio tab> press the playlist selector button on the header (Top left of the screen)dialog box will open,>select create dynamic playlist>name your list> grouped/not grouped by feed> then select the play order & select category of the feed>press save. (You have the option to not include virtual feeds)

User playlist: As above>swipe or press the audio tab>select create user playlist>add downloaded episodes (Beginning, middle, end or random)> select category of the feed>press save.

Create categories in the DC Navigation Menu & on the feeds screen, long press on a particular feed to assign categories.

It's on Eric's to do list for the ability to group dynamic playlist to group by category http://mantis.doggcatcher.com/view.php?id=1667 - also the ability to create a playlist for that include both audio and video http://mantis.doggcatcher.com/view.php?id=982

Once playlists are created>swipe or press the audio tab>select a playlist to playback a particular feeds.

One other option is to use

One other option is to use the existing playlist called 'all - sorted by feed/date'. All your episodes will be listed there grouped by feed, so once you start playing the oldest episode and it finished, then next newest in that feed will play next.
