My Galaxy S4 (4.4.4) pauses audio when I get a notification. My head unit even shows the || pause indicator. But, when the DC audio resumes it is a few seconds ahead of where it should have paused.
I will attempt to capture the log the next time it does this.
Enable the "Variable Speed Player" feature (In the DC Menu>Settings>Audio Player>Variable Speed) to see if this workaround resolves the problem.
I have enabled the variable speed player.
This has not helped.
After looking at the log, I noticed that DoggCatcher is not recognizing that a notification has been played. This could explain the lack of pausing. The notification is playing over the podcast while DoggCatcher continues to play in the background.
Is there some reason why DoggCatcher is not recognizing that a notification has been played and that it should have paused?
Send a log right after this problem happens again (In the DC Navigation Menu>Report Problem) more than likely DC is not receiving the signal to pause from Android
