Lock screen widget progress bar doesn't function

Hi,

I am running DoggCatcher Paid 1.2.4065 on a Samsung Galaxy S5 (Android 4.42).

When I am on the lock screen and it shows the podcast details, back, play/pause, forward buttons and the progress bar that allows you to scrub through the episode, I can scroll through the progress bar manually (ie if I do it) but it won't update itself.

Also when I do move the progress bar progress, it doesn't scrub through the episode like I would expect it to.

Is this an issue with DoggCatcher or with my understanding of how I thought it worked?
