Backup/restore Functionality not working

I am trying to transfer to a new phone (a Note 3 from a Galaxy Nexus), and I cannot find the backup OPML file or successfully transfer my information across. I followed the directions, but it is not working.

I am on trying to do this copying across on a Mac, if this end up making the task any more difficult (probably, since Android File Transfer is a rather limited tool).

On newer devices DC backup

On newer devices DC backup folder is stored on the device storage SDcard0/DoggCatcher/Export - Before switching to a new device, backup Dc on the old device (In the DC Menu>Settings>Backup/Restore/Export) use PC/Mac or Google Drive/Dropbox to import DC's "Export folder
Export the folder to DC's device storage directory on the new device & run restore (In the DC Menu)

You are missing what I'm

You are missing what I'm saying. I cannot find the OPML file after hitting the export button. I hit the backup button on my Nexus and I can't find the file. There is no SD card, and there is no folder in the path it's saying its saving the file. Can I change that path, or where is the file being stuck now?

Export OPML

Apologies for misunderstanding the problem, on Nexus devices "DoggCatcherExport.opml" file is stored on the device storage in the DC directory sdcard0/DoggCatcher/ from a file manager it's listed right after the "Podcastimages" folder

"EpisodeEnclosures"
"Export"
"Podcastimages"
"DoggCatcherExport.opml"

Probably easier to email yourself the file or upload to Google Drive or Drobox.

Currently it's not possible to change the path, but it's on Eric's to do list to make the backup directory configurable so that you could point it at a DropBox folder or Google Drive for devices that do not have external SD-card (See request issue -http://mantis.snoggdoggler.com/view.php?id=1023 )

That folder isn't showing up

That folder isn't showing up after the export, and when I make the given folders the OPML file doesn't show up after export.

I just used ASTRO File

I just used ASTRO File Manager & Dropbox apps with a Nexus device & located the DC "DoggCatcherExport.opml" file after pressing "Export Feeds in OPML format" (In the DC Menu) the path listed is /storage/emulated/0/DoggCatcher/DoggCatcherExport.opml, from a file manager, Google Drive or Drobox the path is mnt/sdcard0/DoggCatcher/DoggCatcherExport.opml or Internal Storage/DoggCatcher/DoggCatcherExport.opml

If you're still not able to locate or create the opml file, then Eric will respond later today.
