Trouble with radio podcasts broken into multiple parts - Suggestions Please

Hi,

I recently purchased DoggCatcher and I like it for the most part. My problem is that most of the podcasts I listen to are sports talk radio for the Washington D.C. area, specifically 106.7 The Fan. Anyway, they break up their shows into about 15 pieces. I would like to keep only the most recent days files. Is there a way to just have the most recent days files for the podcast show up and have everything else disappear? I would even be fine with say the past 15 items show up.

Ideally, the goal is to be able to pick a podcast and have the pieces play in order. That doesn't appear to be possible right now...maybe i am missing something.

Anyone else have luck with a situation like this one?

Thanks,

Matt

Auto download and number of items

A couple people have requested an elegant solution for what you are trying to do, but in the mean time you could try this.

Set the auto-download and number of items for the feed to be the same number...15. This will always keep the latest 15 download and will delete the older ones.

As far as the order, I can take a look if you post the feed url. Is the publisher not publishing the items in order?
