Audio doesn't release when exited

I have a strange problem. I have a Galaxy S3 (Verizon) running Cyanogenmod 10.2. When using Doggcatcher, I'll pause a podcast, exist doggcatcher and unplug the headphones. There's no sound through the internal speaker (phone speaker) at this point....everything is muted.

To fix, I'll plug the headphones back in and use the VOL +/- button, unplug the headphones, and the phones speaker works again.

I've verified and this is only with Doggcatcher and nothing else. Does anybody have the same issue or know of a fix (other than my workaround)?

Headset Issue

If this is a BT headset, try deleting the pairing & re-pair again that should resolve the problem, if it's wired headset, I'm not sure of a solution, because DC doesn't route audio to specific devices (Headset/Device Speaker) Android does & for some reason it's not sending the headset disconnect to DC. Send a log the next time it happens, press "Report Problem" (In the DC Menu) on CM, you might have to turn out logging in the device settings or install aLogcat (free) or Log Collector app (Available in the Google Play Store) and email the log to "support (AT) doggcatcher (DOT) com" Eric will check it out

As wayne said, DC doesn't do

As wayne said, DC doesn't do any audio routing at all. But it's possible that the sequence/timing that we are interacting with the media player is surfacing a bug in the ROM.

No bugs.

All,

Just an update. I ran through some troubleshooting today when I was sending the logs in and discovered it's not a problem with Doggcatcher but yet a problem with cyanogenmod. I verified this by using Apollo to play a short clip, and the same behavior was found with Apollo.

I just wanted to give an update here in case others have had a similar issue.

Thanks!
