Default Sleep Timer

Hello,

This is a great product, especially with the ability to sync between devices. I switched from another popular Android Podcast app just because of the ease of sync.

One request that would make this an almost perfect product: Implement a default sleep timer. One of my audiobook players has an option to start the sleep timer as soon as the playback starts. When the timer runs down to 5 seconds, the volume slowly fades to zero. Restarting the playback resets the timer, as does shaking the device anytime during playback. This means that if you are walking with your device or driving, the accelerometer will keep the timer from running down; but if you turn it on at night, you won't miss large sections of a podcast or multiple episodes if you fall asleep quickly.

Sleep Timer Options

The ability to shake the device to reset the timer is on Eric's to do list or investigating that option is on it - http://mantis.snoggdoggler.com/view.php?id=681 also the sleep timer should play subtle sound when timer is about to expire and provide the ability to extend the timer.

There is also an option for the sleep timer button should set timer to most recent setting, long-press should open dialog to select time - http://mantis.snoggdoggler.com/view.php?id=1737

Eric will respond later about the other sleep timer options you're asking about
1. Option to start the sleep timer as soon as the playback starts.
2. When the timer runs down to 5 seconds, the volume slowly fades to zero.
3. Restarting the playback resets the timer.

Currently the "Sleep Timer" icon is located on the top right of the "Car Mode" screen, Press on feed thumbnail on bottom left of the screen on the media control bar to enable car mode screen.

On the beta version of DC some application functions were moved to a navigation drawer http://mantis.snoggdoggler.com/view.php?id=1850 This will be an additional location for the sleep timer and accessible on all tabs.
