dc starts on its own and wont close

so just recently this started happening. I will be listening to music through the regular media player and Doggcatcher will just start up and start playing a podcast while my phone is on the desk or in my pocket.

Afterwards i go in stop the podcast but I can't get the tasktray icon to go away even though i have the setting to do so.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

AJ

This sounds a lot like audio

This sounds a lot like audio bug that was in pre-4.2.9 CyanogenMod ROM builds. Are you using some stock or some custom ROM? If so, I suggest updating to the latest version of that ROM.

I am having the same problem:

I am having the same problem: When I watch a video in the stock video player doggcatcher randomly starts to play an audio podcast that I listened to a while ago. I can't force this to happen. It's randomly (and very annoying). I don't have the headset option checked.

I use the stock ROM for the HTC Desire and the latest version of doggcatcher.

Log file

Can you please send a log right after this happens, it's send log in the DC menu.

Thanks.

Log file

I think the only way that the play gets triggered is by pressing on the button, or resuming after a call or headset plug. So it's possible that DC is receiving one of those events from android when it shouldn't.

DC should be logging when any of these events are occurring so if you could send the log right after the next time it happens, we should be able to tell why it's happening. You can send the log from the DC menu 'debug log'...send it to support at snoggdoggler.com.

Thanks.
