Stuck on version 1.2.3005

Back in March I helped to beta test a new release, and the in app upgrade process. I purchased the upgrade then and thought that would be permanent. Now when I go into the Google Play store I see I have the Lite version on my account and I have version 1.2.3005. It seems that there are more recent versions and the about screen says I have the Premium release and purchased back in March. At this point I'm not clear what to expect and how to get updates without losing all of my settings and functionality. Can anyone help clarify what I should expect after beta testing, and how to gets updates without losing my settings and playlist?

DC Lite Premium

You should be on version 1.2.3021 of DC Lite Premium, open the Play Store app & then My apps locate DC, press the update option

I went to look for it in the list of installed apps, but didn't see it. I searched and found it and then pressed update. I received the following message:
Unknown error code during application Install: "-24"

It now shows in the list of installed apps as expected, but it won't install. I've even tried rebooting the phone, but I get the same message.

I think you might have to

I think you might have to uninstall/re-install DC, I would first backup DC (In the DC Menu,Settings,Backup/Restore/Export) then using a file manager move the export folder to the external SD card (extSdCard), the current location for the export file on S3 is storage/sdcard0/DoggCatcher/Export, If you want you could also export feeds in OPML format. Then uninstall/re-install DC, then with the file manager move the export folder back to storage/sdcard0/DoggCatcher/ Open DC & restore your feeds database and configuration.
If you would like you can wait for Eric's opinion before doing anything.

Thanks for the assistance

Thanks for the assistance WayneC! I feel like i know what I need to do now not to lose anything. I'll probably wait to hear back from Eric as well just in case there is something else. I started looking into this because some of my podcasts started ending in the middle and moving on to the next one in the queue. I use the Stable Speed library to listen at 1.7x and was thinking my issue was probably related. I noticed that DC now supports variable speed playback natively and wanted to see if that would take care of my issue which is when I noticed the whole upgrade issue.

You're welcome

You're welcome, I would still backup DC & export feeds in OPML format, then move or copy the export folder & OPML file to the external sd card

I would do what wayne

I would do what wayne suggests...do a backup in the dc settings, uninstall, re-install, then restore from backup. I've never heard of the error that you're getting but from googling around, it looks like a reinstall should take care of it.

Uninstall, reinstall and

Uninstall, reinstall and restore got me back up and running. Variable speed playback seems to be better as well. Thanks again for the assistance.
