Bluetooth Auto Play Controls

If this doesn't already exist I would very much like the following.

As a doggcatcher user I would like the ability to control the play back settings when my phone connects to a Bluetooth device so ta the currently active track/podcast/video either automatically plays or does not play.
Currently when my phone connects to the Bluetooth in my car it starts playing a podcast, and then starts playing the podcast again when I disconnect but have hit pause.

This is rather annoying.

Almost surely, your car

Almost surely, your car system is sending bluetooth play and pause commands right after the bt is connected and disconnected. My ford sync does this and there isn't any way to prevent it...bit of a pain.

Just as another data point,

Just as another data point, this function works correctly for me. I have a Novero aftermarket system in my car and DC correctly starts and stops when connecting/disconnecting.

I have had the same issue,

I have had the same issue, but ended up fixing it by using an app called 'Autorun Manager'. If you look in the list of applications, find "DoggCatcher" and under receivers, uncheck the box next to 'com.snoggdoggler.android.receivers.mediabutton.MediaButtonBroadcastReceiverStrong', I find that I have to do that for other apps as well, like PowerAmp (except that one is 'com.maxmpz.audioplayer.player.PlayerMediaButtonReceiver')

Hope that works for you..
