How can i control DoggCatcher remotely with my bluetooth headset?

Is there an app for doing this so i don't have to pull my Droid out of my pocket? An app that configures the functions of each button on the headset is what i had in mind. EG, if i hit the call button twice, DoggCatcher plays a podcast. If i hit the call button 3 times, DoggCatcher pauses the podcast. If i press and hold the volume button, DoggCatcher plays the next track is played. I use a Motorola Elite Sliver.

We don't have any way to

We don't have any way to integrate with those buttons at the moment but when we do tasker integration (on the todo list) you may be able to do something like that if tasker can respond to those button presses.

Any news on this feature set?

Any news on this feature set? I'm just curious if anything has been done on it. I've been following it for a couple years now and it seems like it keeps getting pushed down the roadmap.

Here's hoping

It's not in the near plan.

It's not in the near plan. Most of what we add is based on user demand...at the moment we have some other things that are requested much more frequently like cloud syncing across devices and built in variable speed.
