Persistent Notification

I really like the ability to pause a podcast via the notification drawer but I hate how the notification disappears after pausing it. After pausing a podcast with the notification pause button, I have to launch dogcatcher again to resume my podcast. I would love it if the notification acted like Google's "Play Music" app's notification does. You can pause a song in the notification drawer and the notification remains. The way to remove the notification is to push an "X" located to the right of the notification. Would be great if doggcatcher's notification worked the same way.

...

Well, if you take a look at when this issue was submitted you will see it has been "being worked on" for quite some time now. Guess it's not a priority which really disappoints me.
