Locking and syncing/baking up of locked podcasts

I would like to request the following feature:

Please provide a way to lock individual played podcasts from accidental deletion (podcasts one like to keep for viewing again and again). Pl. include features like keep podcast with media and without media. The locked podcasts should be able to be synced with some online sync/storage service so that resetting the device doesnt effect them. All unplayed podcasts should be able to be automatically downloaded after restoring the DC/device.
