Play order in playlist

I am really happy with Doggcatcher after using it for a few months now. I have a question that I can't find the answer to. I have a number of subscribed feeds and I have added some of them to a user playlist. Most of these are short 5-10 min daily episodes. One of them is a full hour weekly episode. I listen during my morning commute and like to listen to all of the short episodes, and then 10 minutes or so of the longer podcast each day. I drag around the episodes in the playlist and put them in the order that I would like to listen, but play does not seem to follow that order. Usually the first episode will play once i start it, but on conclusion the player will jump to the longer "in progress" episode. I'm guessing that the reason it is possible to drag around episodes in the playlist is to set the play order, but there seems to be some other rule that overrides this. How can I get the episodes to play in the order I choose?
Thanks,
Mike.

Glad you like the app.

That may be a bug. Auto-play should select the next episode in line based on what is displayed on the audio tab. While you are experiencing this, can you check the playing tab, which will display the 'next up' episode. If this doesn't match the next episode according to the episodes that are displayed on the audio tab, then we've got a problem.

In the mean time, I'll see if I can reproduce this.

Thanks for posting.

Hi Eric, Thank you for the

Hi Eric,
Thank you for the response. I checked, and the next up episode is not the next in line, but it is accurately showing the next to play. I can't quite figure out what the rule is that the app is using to decide what is next, but it seems to be influenced by the length of time since download and whether I previously started listening to the episode.
In case you need to know, I am running this on an HTS Sensation running Android 1.0.3 and HTC Sense 3.6.
Thanks,
Mike.

So that may be a bug in the 'next up', which I've seen before, and have a bug opened for.

What I expect to be working without any problems is what is displayed on the audio tab. The order that is displayed there should absolutely be the order in which episodes are auto-played. I not quite sure I understood what you said about the audio tab. Is the order displayed there the actual order that episodes are playing?

Thanks.
