Automatic Downloads?

I've been through all the menus at least 3 times, but cannot figure out how to make it so that all of a subscribed podcast's episodes are automagically downloaded.

I get a few, but something like "Stuff You Should Know" has hundreds - and I'd like to have them cached for when I'm on the road.

It's got to be something I'm looking right at, but not comprehending.

But what?

You can either do that for

You can either do that for all feeds by going in the preferences / global feed options / auto downloads, and then set some number bigger than 1. Or you can do it per feed by going into the feed options and setting the auto downloads setting.

Thanks for posting.

I had done all that, but still was not getting the desired result: auto-download of all podcasts.

I found a workaround:

- Drop the context menu by clicking the little arrow in the lower right
of a given feed name.

- Select "Flag All New"

- Click the "Feed Update" icon (the sort of Yin-Yang) icon just to the right of the feed name.

On one hand, this is obviously no big deal since, once a new user is up and running, the problem goes away.

OTOH, the new user has plenty of other issues they have to deal with and one more gotcha may increase the chances they will (erroneously, IMHO) conclude that the product is not acceptable.
