I use DC on my San Fran mobile and it works great. I have pre -ordered the new google Nexus 7 tablet will DC work on this 7" tablet and will it fit the screen properly or is it only designed for mobile size screens?
Also do I need to buy another DC for my new nexus 7 tablet or can I transfer to use on both? I'm not too worried about needing to buy another DC if I need to but I just need to know..............thanks
It works fine on the kindle fire which is the same screen size, but I don't have my n7 yet so I can't say for sure. It should arrive this week sometime though.
Your purchase is tied to your google account so as long as you use the same account, all your apps will be available on the n7.
thanks Eric:-)
I got my Nexus 7 earlier today, and the first app I loaded was DoggCatcher. Works great, though it doesn't look like it's using a tablet interface.
It's not using the dual pane layout that the tablet uses because it's too skinny in portrait mode on 7". It should (but currently doesn't) use the dual pane layout when in landscape. I messed with that before but couldn't get it working reliably, but I do need to get back to it. 7" tablets are becoming pretty common.
The n7 is pretty nice huh? I have *only* one complaint and it might just be the way I hold it. I use my thumbs to fling and as soon as my thumb comes off the tablet, flings stop. I think it's because my thumbs form an arcing motion and it seems to confuse the fling logic. If I use my index finger, it works fine, probably because the motion is more straight up/down. Do you notice this?
I'm not doing a log of flinging, so I haven't noticed it. I'm still getting the hang of the new features. Before this, it was the DInc running an unofficial CM9 build.
