Still not getting more than 10...

I'm also both a new user and interested in displaying more than 10 episodes for a feed. I've set the global setting to 25, refreshed the feed, and still only get 10. I've also followed WayneC's guidance and long-clicked on the feed, disabled global settings, entered a new number, and still only get 10 episodes.

Checking the feed's URL directly, I can go back and view years'-worth of episodes (far more than 10 or 25)...

Thoughts?

Feed versus blog

http://deadshow.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default and I think I've figured out why only 10 are listed... On the feed itself, it only provides those 10 podcasts... But the blog itself allows you to got further back in time (http://deadshow.blogspot.com/)... Another podcast player on Android allowed me to go to the URL of the blog and add episodes to the player directly.

It seems in DC, the best I can do is to download the .MP3s that are no longer in the feed and create a virtual feed for those...

That sound about right?

Is there anyway to tie them together in DC like in the other app? That is, convince DC to pull the podcast (and its description) from blogspot directly instead of just presenting what's in the feed itself?

There isn't away to bring the blog & feed together, as you said the best you can do is to download the MP3's that are no longer available from the feed and create a virtual feed
