Does not recognise Wi-Fi connection

First of all can I just say that I love this app, it is one of my most used apps and I have no regrets in buying the full version. However I have recently encountered a strange problem. I used to use the setting 'Only Download Over Wi-Fi.' Strangely, the app no longer recognises a Wi-Fi connection. This can be seen by going to the Queue, where it says not connected to Wi-Fi, even though the phone is. When I turn the setting off, it downloads stuff at Wi-Fi speeds. The Wi-Fi is there, but the app doesn't notice it.
