What do you think about adding Flattr to doggcatcher to let people support the podcasts they are listening to? In case you don't know it, here's a brief description of Flattr:

Instacast for iOS has recently integrated it:

There are a couple of podcasts with a fairly stable Flattr "income" already.
That's a good idea, I added that to the todo list - http://mantis.snoggdoggler.com/view.php?id=1339
Thanks for the feedback.
I just learned that integrating flattr into applications comes with the added benefit of revenue sharing between flattr and the app developer - i.e. every time a listener flattrs a podcast episode in Doggcatcher, you'd receive a portion of the 10% transaction fees.
This might make the feature a bit more attractive :)
I sent the flattr folks an email, I'll have to check out how much work the integration would be but it sounds like a good idea.
I strongly second that feature request - integration of flattr is the feature I miss most: It would be super convenient e.g. to auto-flattr every podcast I have been listening to. At the moment every month or so I take some time and click for every podcast I have listened to the respective link on the web, but this is tedious to say the least, and I would be more than happy if doggcatcher could assist here.
What is now with Flattr integration?
I switched for the meantime to AntennaPod.

Has Flattr integration and nice holo interface.
I'm waiting for this too. In the meantime, I switched to Podkicker Pro.
