Trying to find the best solution for rss and podcasts on this kindle device. Very interested in your software but would like to try it out before buying. Can you please add the trial verson to amazon or perhaps make it available here on your site? Thanks :)
I've given you access to download it from here to try, just click on the paypal users link up in the forums menu above.
Thank you, Eric - trying it out now.
Your program seems to work best out of the ones I've been able to try. Will buy from amazon and have uninstalled the copy you allowed me to try out. Thanks :)
I particularly like that I can dl a podcast and listen using the (kindle) device's built-in audio player.
Would like to be able to mark all podcasts read and also have an 'episode view' arranged in time/date order. About half of my 150ish subs are newscasts and such a View would be handy.
Thanks again for helping with the trial :)
Great, make sure you do a backup in DC before uninstalling. Then once you purchase from amazon, you can restore you feeds and configuration.
That's a good idea about marking all feeds read, I created an issue for this - http://mantis.snoggdoggler.com/view.php?id=1309
I have finally been able to (just the other day) purchase doggcatcher as promised - your great customer service the deciding factor :) And thanks again for arranging the demo for me.
I seem to be having problems with the following feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/IndieTravelPodcast and/or http://indietravelpodcast.com/feed
Any idea what might be preventing it from loading/working?
Thank you :)
The first feed isn't valid, you can verify it here - http://validator.w3.org/appc/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Ffeeds.feedburner...
The second looks to have the same error on the same line (415).
I suggest getting in contact with the publisher and let them know.
Thanks, I'll try contacting him. I did try the validator link I found in your support faq before posting but didn't know what to make of the results :)
