Hi,
I searched through the site, but I don't think this specific issue has been addressed (apologies if it has).
I would like to group my podcasts by feed and then by date from the oldest to the newest and not from newest to the oldest as is the case with the current "sorted by feed/date" setting. Funnily enough, when selecting only "date" for sorting, the playing order is the way I want it, only there's no pre-grouping by feed. Is there a way to achieve what I want or have I just made a feature request?
Generally it'd be great to have an "ascending/descending" order choice for date and other criteria for playlist sorting (ok, currently only the date would be concerned by such a feature). Also, I'd welcome a playback style that more closely matches that of the iPod, i.e. playback stops when all items in a feed have been played.
Thanks.
There isn't a way to do that now, but I do have it on the todo list to be able to specify a custom sorting/grouping for each playlist.
You can get the ipod behavior by long pressing on a feed and then select add to playlist to make a new playlist for the feed.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Ideally I'd like to go into a feed (with a single tap, that is), start playing the oldest unplayed podcast in the list and once it's finished continue on to the next item until all have been played. Just like on the iPod, basically.
I've had a few requests for this - I created an issue for it - http://mantis.snoggdoggler.com/view.php?id=1038
Thanks for the feedback.
