I have certain podcasts that only publish one weeks episodes, but I may not get to listen to them for a few weeks. DoggCatcher automatically removes episodes that are already downloaded onto my phone, but no longer published. Is there some way to get it to leave those there until I listen to them?
Setting the 'retain expired' feed option will keep items from being deleted automatically when they drop out of the publisher's feed but you'll need to manually delete them when you're done (long press on item).
I knew that feature had to be there, but the way it's described with the warning labels made it seem different from what I was after. Will the auto-delete work if I have items set to delete after listening, or will I really have to manually delete them?
You'll need to manually delete the items once your finished, the retain expired essentially avoids the auto delete.
