Has anyone else experienced an e-mail notification killing Doggcatcher? It would appear that the scenario is:
* Have Doggcatcher playing a podcast
* Be using something else in the foreground with Doggcatcher in the background
* Receive an e-mail (seems to happen with either GMail or the other stock mail client)
* E-mail notification sound plays, Doggcatcher pauses while notification is playing
* Doggcatcher never resumes and now it's no longer running
I wonder if there is a solution to this without having to enable any of the "keep alive" options. I don't want Doggcatcher running unless I'm actively using it, or during those twice-a-day podcast refreshes.
DC should be resuming after the notification. Can you please send a log file (in the dc menu) right after this happens with a note about what happened.
I wouldn't mess with the keep-alive. Android will kick DC out of memory when it's needed for something else.
