Why doesn't Doggcatcher remember its place when app switching?

Many Android apps remember where you were when you switch to
another app to another, or go to the home screen and back to
the app.

This is not the case with Doggcatcher. If you are in an RSS
feed, for example reading "msnbc.com: Top msnbc.com
headlines", and get an email or text msg and switch to read
it, when you switch back to Doggcatcher either by using the
shortcut, or by holding the Home key down to switch to the
running app, it drops you back on the home page.

What is worse is that whatever post you were on in the feed
when you switched is now "Done", so is gone, and you have to
show done items to see it again.

Similar problems in the car when trying to listen to audio
podcasts, and use navigation, or the phone. Once the item
you are listening to ends, you have to find the feed page
again to hear the next one. It should be a little easier.

Perhaps there is a setting somewhere that would keep my
place that I've not found yet though.

Thanks.

PS: Great product -- use it constantly!

That's on the todo list, it

That's on the todo list, it should get you back to where you were when you left the app.

You could use auto-play to get another media file to play after the current one completes.

I have this gripe as well.

I have this gripe as well. With dc the feeds page is the main. I wish you could specify which screen was the default... Kinda like you can specify which screen is the main with a home screen launcher. I wish there was tabs at top for feeds, playlist, search, etc. I really think using back is not intuitive for navigation,

I would make the downloaded videos page my default.

Any update on this?

Any update on this feature?

This is a killer for me. Especially when watching video, then getting a text/e-mail, then switching back to DoggCatcher. This is 1 of 2 show stoppers for me; the other one you've fixed.

Sorry, I didn't mean for that to sound so dramatic, ha. =)

No problem, it's on the short

No problem, it's on the short list but I can't say anything more specific than that. The issues on the schedule tend to shift around a bit.

I just finished this last

I just finished this last night. It'll be in the release after next. There's already one release that the beta testers have now that will hit the market first.

Thanks for posting.
