Auto-Playlist Questions - Is there one for all feeds?

So, I'm looking into purchasing this app but have a few questions concerning the playlist before I drop the cash.

1) Is there an auto-playlist sorted by date created (not download date) oldest to newest for all feeds?

2) Is this playlist specific to DoggCatcher or can I open it with other applications? Currently I use Astro Player for podcast playback and I would like to continue to use it.

3) How is the auto-playlist created? Automatically as new shows are downloaded or do you manually create one as you want it?

So my real goal is to have DC download my shows and automatically create one playlist of all the feeds with them sorted oldest to newest. Using my preferred audio app for podcasts, I would like to open the playlist and listen to the shows as the auto-playlist should have been created -- oldest to newest.

Is this possible with DC?

Thanks for any insight. The application looks cool, I just want to make sure it fits my needs. Right now I'm manually syncing to my PC because MediaMonkey's playlist works just the way I want it to. But I'm looking for better solutions that don't tie me to the PC.

Wrench In The Mix

I just happened to think of something. I don't have playlists for all the feeds together. Can you tag the feeds and build the auto-playlist off the tags? Or do something similar anyway?

So this way I'll have an auto-playlist of all my tech shows and another auto-playlist of shows with other interests. I like to keep them separate.

1 - Yes 2 - DC specific 3 -

1 - Yes
2 - DC specific
3 - Automatically for now, manual playlists are on the todo list.

Second post - Yep, you can assign categories to each feed and then a playlist is created for each category. The category playlists will each play from oldest to newest (but are grouped by feed).

Hmm... Not really overly

Hmm... Not really overly fond of the grouping of the feeds by category to be honest. I'm a little OCD and prefer to listen to all shows in series of when they were recorded.

Is the auto-playlist for all feeds the same way (grouped by category)? If not, does it just build the list if as the shows are downloaded? So if I add a new feed will the playlist be in chronological order? Or does it just throw it in the bottom of the playlist?

Perhaps this issue will go away when manual playlist are developed? That's really how MediaMonkey works. I tell it where to look, what to exclude, what to sort by, and which way I want it sorted. Works great. The painful part is syncing it to my PC. Currently the way they handle the process takes forever on Android devices.

Sorry about all the questions. I just want to know what to expect before buying the application and the speed playback plugin. 15 minutes just isn't really long enough to decide if an app like this will work for me. Just trying to do due diligence before my purchase.

Thanks for the help.
