Partial Video Download

Cranky Geeks was a partial download this week, so I used the long press/play partial method to start it up. When it started, I only got audio. It didn't even start up the video player. I've had no problems with this feed in the past, but they've all reported as full downloads.

I tried opening it manually with the Meridian video player, and it played fine. I'm wondering if the play partial code might be different from the standard play code and is not set up for video?

Also, since the Meridian player is much more car-friendly, I prefer that to the original video player. But DC always starts up what looks like the original player, and not Meridian. I even went so far as to uninstall the original player, but DC manages to find a way to use it.

I should add that it's been a few days since I came to the site, and didn't realize that there's a new version, so I'll download that and double-check the problem. I didn't get one of those handy-dandy new app notifications from the market. Is there something you have to do when updating the app on the market to trigger those notifications?

Partials

Yep, partials are handled differently and probably incorrectly. I'm pretty sure they will be considered audio. I'll add this to the bug list.

Thanks.
