A slider on the player status bar enabling the user to fast-forward and rewind would be greatly appreciated. It would also allow you to drop the "jump forward" button which seems to be limited to a few seconds fast-forward per press anyway which would in turn allow for slightly larger buttons.
I was also thinking of overlaying the currently playing episode name over the progress bar.
