Sorting podcast

I need to know how to sort a podcast.
I download several podcasts each day and all but one sorts and runs fine.
The problem i have is this podcast downloads 1st hour on top then 2nd hour on bottom so when it plays (w autoplay on)it will play the 2nd hour 1st so i have to stop it and manually start the 1st hour.
I have tryed to use the sort feature in the settings but none make any difference, ie sort oldest first, sort newist first,no sort.
any help would be appreciated.

Sorting

That's going to be a problem with that feed. They post the items in an order that you don't want to listen to them....hr 2 before hr 1. And, the dates that they have on hr1 and hr2 are the same, so you can't sort by date either.

You can contact the publisher and have them either have the items in listening order or have different dates on the hr1/hr2 items so we can sort based on date.

Thanks for posting.

do you have anyway to

do you have anyway to implement an invert sort feature?
I have used this on another podcatcher and it worked great.

There's a sort order in the feed options where you can set date asc/desc.

Sorry about that, I didn't re-read the first post.

I don't think we're going to get the items in the right order. Take a look at the feed url you posted in a browser. If we sort it top down or bottom up, the items aren't going to be in the order that you would want to listen to them. If we sort by date, the same problem exists because the dates are the same for hr1 and hr2. This might get some in the right order sometimes by chance (since the dates are the same), but not reliably. It's just that the info in the feed isn't enough to get the items in the right order.

Is it possible to enable a manual sort or move of the podcasts within each feed with a longpress, similar to how moving the entire feed is accomplished? I would think a longpress - Move up/down 1 would do the trick for those times when the publisher doesn't get it correct.

I'm consistently having the same issue with this feed:

Item sorting

That's going to get pretty hairy for that to work while synching feeds from the publisher but it might work.

I created an issue for this - http://mantis.snoggdoggler.com/view.php?id=844
