Starting to use doggcatcher, theme does not change

Hi Using doggcatcher 1.1.1904 on HTC wildfire 2.2

Have had it for a while but now trying to use it for real, have a small issue

preferences > use interface > theme, gives 2 x options, light & dark, no matter which I select the interface is still the same light blue. Not a show stopper, a bug ?
