So I'm trying to listen to a Learning Japanese type podcast. There are already several hundred episodes published, and I'd like my autodownload to download the next item instead of the latest item, so that I can listen to the feed in the correct order from beginning to end. Is this possible? I'd rather not have to download hundreds of audio files and make a virtual feed if possible.
-Make sure that the configured number of items is at least as large as the number of items available.
-Mark all the items that you want to listen to as new
-Configure the auto-downloads to the number of media files you want to have on your phone at a time.
-Configure the delete policy to oldest.
You should leave the sort in the default order unless the feed diagnostics tells you that the feed is out of order.
That should do it.
Hmmm that seems to work, wonder what I was doing wrong before...
