Bug: Gets confused on calls

On my way home from work I have my phone plugged in playing podcasts from Doggcatcher. If I receive a call. Doggcatcher will pause. I unplug the phone and answer the call. Doggcatcher immediately starts playing over the call. The person on the other end can't hear it, but I can. At this point it becomes very difficult to stop Doggcatcher because the screen seems to want to turn and and off as if it's unsure if I'm on a call or what is going on. It usually take a ridiculous amount of time to stop the playback and often people will hang up.

This is reproducible every time and has persisted through multiple clean installs. I did a little testing and instead of answering the call immediately after unplugging the headphone jack I waited a few seconds. The audio started playing anyway, even before I had answered the call.

I think this has to do with the "pause on disconnect" feature. It is pausing when the call comes in, then when the headset is disconnected is is toggling pause again (and therefore playing).

It might be the resume on

It might be the resume on headset connect feature that is causing this and not the pause on disconnect. Not sure.

Resuming

I tried this both with and without the resume on headset connect preference enabled and it's working fine.

Is this always happening for you or just sometimes?

Can you please send a log right after this happens and I'll check it out.

Thanks.

Happened to me

Was on a call this morning on my Nexus S 4G. I plugged in the headset so I could better hear the caller. DoggCatcher started playing. Had to open the app and manually pause the playback. Had to disable the "play when headset is plugged in" feature to avoid this in the future.

This sounds a little bit

This sounds a little bit different than the first report but I can see how this is happening. I created an issue to get this fixed - http://mantis.snoggdoggler.com/view.php?id=916

Thanks for posting.
