2. I'd like the dimmed screen under the dialog box to refresh/change immediately with a long touch on a given option, so the change could be seen without closing the dialog box. Changing the dialog box to OK/Cancel style might be even better.

Yep, there have been a couple post about this one. I haven't been able to figure out what they are changing in the feed that is causing this.
