"java.net.ProtocolException: Too many redirects" error

This is for the following feedburner feed
http://feeds.feedburner.com/uncontrolledairspace

I saw the explanation here
http://www.doggcatcher.com/index.php?q=node/545
so I tried the XML format to try and get rid of the redirects, to get

http://feeds.feedburner.com/uncontrolledairspace?format=xml

No luck - the doggcatcher picks up the podcast episode information but will not download anything

Any progress on this bug?

Proxies

Android doesn't seem to work well with these proxies that Google creates for feeds. Which is weird, considering it's Google's operating system. I believe there's nothing you can do. Unless you can convince the owners of the podcast to publish direct links to their MP3 files.

The bug is not with DoggCatcher. It's Google fault really.

I just found another podcast

I just found another podcast app for Android that handles the feed fine, so it is not an OS limitation.

Advanced downloader

I would try setting the downloader preference to advanced. It usually resolves the too many redirects problem.
