Virtual-feed files play one at a time

I created a virtual-feed folder for audiobook MP3 files. The files are listed in reverse order, with the first file in the sequence at the bottom, which I read in a forum post is the way it's done. I play the first (bottom)file. When it stops, the next file doesn't start. I have to start each file individually. How do I get them to play in continuous sequence?

Autoplay

Make sure that the auto-play is turned on...you can toggle it the audio screen. There's an 'autoplay' button at the top.

That didn't work either. The button said "Autoplay On," so I pressed it. Then I played a track. When it was done, the next track didn't play. When I pressed "Playmode," to see what that showed, the screen showed the track, and said "Next up... No more audio to play." There must be something that's not set right. Would it have anything to do with the Playlist setting? Could I have set up the Virtual Feed wrong in some way?

It works!

When I wrote my "that didn't work" reply yesterday, I had only looked at the latest post from you: "Make sure that auto-play is turned on." I didn't realize you written something before that, and so had tedaly. Tonight I made sure the Autoplay button said "on," and I selected "Virtual Feed" from the Playlist button. (I had actually looked at that earlier, since it seemed logical. But when I selected it, it listed my tracks out of order, so I selected something else.) Tonight I selected Virtual Feed and went to my playlist, and it worked! Thanks for the help!

Two things

The button indicates the current state of auto-play, so I think you turned it off this time...but it was on last time when it also wasn't working for you. So firstly, let's get the button to say 'autoplay on'.

Then take a look at what's in the virtual playlist. Go to the audio screen, you should have the virtual feed selected. Whatever items are listed there are the items that will play and the order they'll play in. Let's verify that this is showing what we think it should. It will only display new or in progress items for your virtual feeds.

Autoplay

to sequence thru a virtual feed, I think you have to go to the 'Audio' page (with three buttons on the top). press the right button and choose virtual feeds. If it's in sorted by feed mode,
you can still manually play items from virtual feeds, but no playlist is implied.
(I'm not sure why these modes are orthogonal - maybe some folks simply don't want a virtual feed
merged into their playlist order.)

Yep, you got it.

I did separate out the virtual feed playlist at the request of quite a few people.
