Discuss DoggCatcher, Android, or whatever you like

I know this permission is explained in the faqs but unfortunately there is no ability within android for a user to selectively choose which of these to grant an application within android. While I can understand that details logs might help fix bugs, I (and I am sure many others) am quite uncomfortable with this permission being permanently granted. If these logs are only sent when users request it then can't you simply direct them to download a free app like aLogcat in those situations?

Hi,
I have an issue in which DoggCatcher starts every time I connect to bluetooth in my car. I use Autostarts to control the behavior of my handset. I discovered that, if I disable "Media Button Pressed" event from being passed to DoggCatcher, the setting is restored the next time DoggCatcher is started. It took me a while to analyze the issue.
I consider any program that overrides my settings on my device malware.
Therefore, unless your software can be modified to respect my wishes on how my device is supposed to operate, I request a refund on my purchase price.

Howdy.
1. DOGGCATCHER IS BRILLIANT.
2. There are a heap of things that just don't make sense or are clearly design bugs currently. The most recent update made things look a bunch slicker, but in my mind have served to make the shortcomings stand out even more.

Lately I've been getting some problems with the storage for my doggcatcher podcasts. When i download podcasts, some of them can be played as usual with no problems at all. But most times there's some problems like playing another podcast than the selected and still listing the other podcast as being played. I even get some mixed podcasts. I can reboot and sometimes that helps for a bit.
I'm not having other problems with my ICS galaxy s 2.
Got any ideas what's wrong?

A couple of thoughts on some UI inconsistancies with DoggCathcer and one Feature Request. :)
I find it a bit odd that the Sleep Timer button is only available on the Playing Tab. This is odd because DoggCatchger has the media buttons on every tab allowing users to listen and control the audio from any tab and I am sure a lot of users do not even use the Playing Tab 100% of the time when listening to podcasts. I for one pretty much keep DoggCathcer on the Audio Tab.

Since the latest update, the Feed Status numbers (count of episodes in-progress / unplayed) have disappeared. It has been replaced with a triangle that expands into a context menu.
Anyone else have this problem?

I'm using version 1.2.3267 but ever since I first started using it, several months ago, every DC version I've has been occasionally forgetting where it is in my podcast playback.

Is there a PBS Frontline feed somewhere?
I see a Frontline world, but thats not been updated for
a while.
I tried adding a feed URL for it from the web
but it did not validate.

Is there a way to search within a feed for a specific podcast? For example within Stuff You Missed In History Class, search for "civil war" to find any podcast with civil war in the title?
I looked around on the forums and tried a search, but didn't come up with anything.
